Youmzain : A Gr.1 winner out of his first crop

For her third outing in the USA, SEA CALISI (YOUMZAIN) took easily her first victory at the Gr.1 level to provide in the same time her sire Youmzain with a first Gr.1 winner when landing the Beverly D. Stakes at Arlington on Saturday, August 13th. 

The French filly won the Gr.2 Prix de Malleret and finished third in the Gr.1 Yorshire Oaks and Gr.1 Prix Vermeille at 3 for François Doumen. She is now trained by Chad C Brown for owner Martin S Scwartz. For his debut in the USA, she won the Gr.2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park in May and finished second in the Gr.2 New York Stakes in June.
