Terre wins at Chantilly

TERRE (Motivator) got off the mark in the Prix de Champlâtreux (Maiden) at Chantilly on May, 3rd. She won easily, having led all the way.
The Haras du Quesnay-bred Terre is the full-sister to the champion TREVE who won 5 Gr.1 races including the Gr.1 Prix de Diane and the Gr.1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (twice). Her sire Motivator stands at Haras du Quesnay. He is the sire of 57 Stakes performers and has 96 three-year-olds and 91 two-year-olds from his two first French crops in 2017. Her dam Trévise was winner at 2 over 5 1/2 f. She is from the family of the famous mare TRIPTYCH and the Gr.1 Prix Saint Alary winner TREBLE.

Terre was runner-up on her debut at 2 in the Prix Douve at Saint-Cloud. On her season reapparence, she finished 4th in the Prix Balbonella over a mile at Maisons-Laffitte on April, 10th. Criquette Head-Maarek explained that a mile was much too short for her. She is entered in the Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, the Gr.1 Prix Saint Alary and the Gr.1 Prix de Diane. But she should follow the same pattern as her talented sister and run the Gr.1 Prix de Diane.
