Megera (Motivator) lands the Listed Preis Düsseldorf

MEGERA (Motivator) capped her career with a first Stakes win when taking the Listed Preis Düsseldorf over 2100m at Düsseldorf on May 20th, 2017. Congratulations to all her winning connections.

The Andreas Wöhler-trained three-year-old filly got off the mark at the fourth time of asking on April, 30th and she is entered in the Gr.1 Preis der Diana - German Oaks in August. Bred by the Haras du Thenney, Megera is a daughter of the Italian Listed winner MANTISSA (Oratorio) who is out of the Gr.3-placed mare Mary Pekan. This is also the family of the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes winner and sire AMADEUS WOLF.

Megera is from the Motivator's first French crop. The Quesnay-based stallion is the sire of 16 three-year-old winners and the Gr.1 Prix Saint Alary-second Vue Fantastique in 2017. Motivator is now the sire of 58 Stakes performers.
